The National Center for Art Research (NCAR) annually hosts the NCAR Study Tours for curators and researchers based in Japan with the aim of building an international network in the field of arts. The program aims to foster intellectual exchange among art professionals worldwide, creating opportunities for future collaborative projects and joint research.

The 7th NCAR Study Tour will dispatch Japanese art specialists to the three Nordic countries (Norway, Sweden, and Finland).

Through dialogue with local curators and art professionals, this program offers a valuable opportunity to deepen understanding of the latest local art scene and cultural arts initiatives, while also enabling participants to leverage the knowledge and networks gained during the program for future projects and research.
