NCAR TALK 006: Exploring Art Scenes in Taiwan! Talks by Emerging Curators
NCAR Talk invites guests to share insights on the art scenes around the world, aiming to create an open space for dialogue with participants and offer an opportunity to learn about the diverse activities of the National Center for Art Research (NCAR). We are pleased to welcome seven emerging curators from Taiwan to NCAR TALK 006. They will share their own curatorial projects as well as introduce the activities of museums in Taiwan.
NCAR hosts Study Tours for curators in Japan twice a year, and in fiscal year 2024, we visited Taiwan. The upcoming visit of curators from Taiwan continues our effort to strengthen the cultural ties established through past collaborations.
NCAR TALK 006 will be a valuable opportunity to learn about the latest trends in Taiwanese art and to interact with curators who are shaping today’s art scene in Taiwan. A networking session will follow the talk, giving participants a chance to engage directly with the curators. Anyone who has registered for the talk is welcome to participate.
*All talks will be in English, and no Japanese translation will be provided.
*This event is part of a curator's networking project, jointly organized by NCAR, the Taiwan Contemporary Cultural Lab (C-LAB), and the National Culture and Arts Foundation (NCAF).
If you would like to participate, please register here.
