The "Artist Talk" presents a series of recorded videos to share international activities of Japanese artists and their insightful stories about creation of artworks.
In the first episode, we invited artist Kawaguchi Tatsuo to discuss what it means to exhibit artworks at international exhibitions, how such experiences have influenced his career and subsequent creative activities, and more. Kawaguchi also participated in the 14th Shanghai Biennale (※), which opened in November 2023. His insights and worldview embedded in his artworks are also highlights of the discussion.
