The National Center for Art Research has published a Japanese edition of the Baring Foundation’s report, Creatively Minded at the Museum by David Cutler which was originally published in 2022. We also supervised the translation from English into Japanese.

In addition to providing financial support for museum activities, the Baring Foundation’s publications are essential resources for art and museum professionals in the UK. Through the presentation of 16 case studies, the report examines innovative museum activities in the UK which targeted to engage people with mental health problems.

By translating the report into Japanese and sharing it on our website, we aim to make this important work available to a wide range of Japanese stakeholders, including museum professionals, health and care practitioners, researchers, and policymakers. We hope this facilitates its contribution to the discussions and developments of new museum activities in Japan.
