All-Party Parliamentary Group on Arts, Health and Wellbeing [Inquiry] Creative Health: The Arts for Health and Wellbeing (The Short Report) [Japanese edition]

The National Center for Art Research has published a Japanese edition of Creative Health: The Arts for Health and Wellbeing (The Short Report) which was originally published by the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Arts, Health and Wellbeing (APPGAHW) in the UK. We also supervised the translation from English into Japanese.

The APPGAHW was formed in 2014 and aims to improve awareness of the benefits that the arts can bring to health and wellbeing. In order to make recommendations to improve policy and practice, the group conducted an inquiry into art-related practices and research on the clinical and healthcare fronts. The Short Report presents a summary in 16 pages. It includes the Key Messages, Recommendations, and Next Steps from the full report.

You can download a Japanese digital version (PDF) of the short report below.
An original English version is also available on the APPGAHW’s successor organization website.

By translating the report into Japanese and sharing it on our website, we aim to make this important work available to a wide range of Japanese stakeholders, including museum professionals, health and care practitioners, researchers, and policymakers. We hope this facilitates its contribution to the discussions and developments of new museum activities in Japan.
