NCAR annually hosts study tours for curators and researchers with the aim of building an international network in the field of arts. The program aims to foster a mutual exchange and create opportunities for future collaborations and joint research among national art museums and art professionals in Japan and abroad.
The 5th NCAR study tour will focus on United Kingdom as the primary site of research, dispatching curators and researchers from Japan for on-site visits. This is a valuable opportunity for participants to explore the latest art landscape in UK and learn strategic approaches in various art projects through dialogue with local curators and art professionals, and leverage what they gain through the program to nourish future projects and research.
