NCAR Talk aims to create a space for open dialogue with participants under a specific theme by inviting guests each time in order to familiarize and learn more about the various activities of the National Center for Art Research (NCAR).
In this commemorative first event, we will welcome as guests Kido Ryusuke and Shimabuku Michihiro, artists who participated in the "Thailand Biennale Chiang Rai 2023" held from December 9, 2023 to April 30, 2024, which was selected as a pre-project of NCAR's "Japanese Artists Abroad ― Support Program for International Biennales." Curator Iida Shihoko will moderate the session, asking about episodes related to their production period at the Biennale and their future activities.
