From Exquisite Craftsmanship to Modern Expressions: New Developments in Modern Kyoto Crafts exhibition will be held at the Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum as part of the touring exhibition of National Museum of Art in FY2024. This exhibition presents one view of modern Japan (from the late 1860s to the 1940s) through craft works from the holdings of the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto – one of the preeminent collections of crafts in Japan.
