NCAR Artist Support Program
Report on the “Thailand Biennale Chiang Rai 2023”
As a precursor to the “Artist Support Program,” the National Center for Art Research, Japan (NCAR), selected the Thailand Biennale Chiang Rai 2023, which was held from December 9, 2023, to April 30, 2024, and supported 3 Japanese artists (Ryusuke Kido, Michihiro Shimabuku and Navin Rawanchaikul) with their participation.
We present the report by Curator Shihoko Iida who visited to research the biennale at the opening.
