【Artist Talk #3】 Sasaoka Yuriko

The “Artist Talk” presents a series of original videos to share creative backgrounds and activities of Japanese artists. The second episode features artist Sasaoka Yuriko.
The third episode features Sasaoka Yuriko who is based in Kansai, the southern central region of Japan. NCAR conducts an interview with Sasaoka, who participated in the 14th Shanghai Biennale (*), discussing her past and future activities with a focus on her exhibition work, "Gyro."

*NCAR carries out the “Japanese Artists Abroad ― Support Program for International Biennales” with the goal of enhancing the international visibility and value of Japanese contemporary art.

For FY 2023, as the precursor to the program, NCAR supported The 14th Shanghai Biennale (November 9, 2023～March 31, 2024).
